This is my first post, very new to blogging. Also I’m not the best with words so dont expect much. I grew up in the church always calling myself a Christian. However by my actions in the past it was obvious that while i might be apart of the church i was not taking my faith seriously. I chose to do this trip as a first step of taking my faith seriously, fully surrendering, and living a Christ driven life. I hope to come out the other side with a new level of faith. Even since i dropped out of highschool last summer i have experienced incredible growth like never before. I only hope that this would continue even more during and after gap year. I am very excited for the community that will come with it and to gain some eternal bestfriends. Also excited for the culture shock and jet lag. Ive never had jet lag but it seems cool. This was short and maybe that will change in the future but this is all i have to say for now.
