As we finished our 6 hour flight from JFK to San Jose I decided to do an airborne devotional. We still have yet to land but I wanted to write a blog since I don't know when I will have wifi or time to do another. In my devotional God led me to 2 Corinthians. I have read this book a couple times before however when I started reading the first chapter it's first 11 verses lept out at me. It speaks of God's comfort and how he comforts us in ALL of our conflictions. And how he does this so that we may in turn comfort those around me. If we are afflicted it is actually for our comfort and spiritual gain. Then I heard God's voice speak over me in his still gentle voice which I am learning to listen to more and more everyday. I heard this, "God's comfort will fall on me in Costa". I have never prophesied before, however I have been praying God would grant me that spiritual gift. I believe he just did and I am writing this blog as a public testament of his goodness and faithfulness. I can't wait to write a part two of this blog explaining his wonderful and beautiful plan and how it unfolded.
